HOW A FEW CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! An extraordinary thing happened in our community over the last few weeks. We saw how a small few of committed people can make a huge impact and difference. One - we saw a small gathering of people make a huge difference in the lives their children. Two – we saw a community come together because of something they believed in. A bigger purpose brought people together in unity to fight for what was perceived a greater cause. They wanted something so bad, they were willing to put their lives on hold and give every ounce of strength, every moment of time, and even their own resources to get the outcome they had envisioned. That is true dedication and COMMITMENT! As many of you know Lucas Christian Academy won the Kohl’s Cares contest last week. This is a contest based on pure number of votes to win a large sum of money for the school. LCA is a small university model school in our area that only has over a few hundred students. The amazing part is how they beat out schools all over the country who have thousands and thousands of students. So, how was such a small group of people able to make a huge impact? 1. A perceived need was noticed 2. Someone saw the need and decided to take action 3. They brought others on board with their mission 4. They were committed at all cost It was truly an amazing feat of determination to watch. Throughout the process I began to realize even more and more the power of being on a mission. People being a part of something bigger is usually what drives people to action and what will bring about change! What moves you? I know in my heart it is the lives and health of YOU and your kids. What if we, as a community / society, had that much commitment to our health and our children’s health as the parents of the LCA kids did for the contest? What if we were committed to making sure our kids’ nervous systems were functioning at 100%? What if we were committed to teaching them the right foods to eat? What if we were committed to making sure they were exercising? What if we were committed to setting the example to show our kids how to live a healthy life? What if we were committed to making sure everyone we knew was living a Maximized Life? Imagine the difference we could make in the lives of others! Think of the disease and suffering that would be eliminated! We no longer would have to be concerned about being the first generation of parents who outlive their kids! No more 1 out of 63 kids being autistic! No more 1 out of 300 kids being diagnosed with cancer before the age of 20! No more kids beings diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I hope that this moves you to action. We have a responsibility to guide our children in the right direction. Set the example. Be committed to your health and your kids’ health. Nothing will be of more importance as teaching why to make good decisions. Don’t stop there, make sure you are sharing the truth about health with everyone you know. | MAXIMIZED LIVING DOCTOR RICK ROYSTON COMBATS CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME |

Have you heard of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, CFS? Maximized Living Doctor Rick Royston has, and he knows how to fix it. CFS is an all-encompassing fatigue that directly impacts (decreases) your stamina and activity level. This isn’t the type of fatigue you feel after a hard day at work or home, or after a particularly strenuous activity. This is a serious health disease that lowers the quality of life considerably for that individual.
Do these symptoms sound more familiar? What people usually do when they start recognizing these symptoms is seek out a doctor to help them through whatever the problem(s) could be. Generally, this means that the physician is treating the symptoms “outside-in”. Meaning, they treat the symptom like sleeplessness with medicine to make you go to sleep. This works temporarily, but could also have harmful side effects.
